Many of the Toronto youth that have rowed out of Bayside and got their start with Eric the Red have gone on to become accomplished rowers worldwide! Titles and awards include:

· 4 World Rowing Championships 1997, 1998, 1999 (Emma Robinson) and 2003 (Barney Williams)

· 2 Olympic Silver Medals (Emma, Atlanta 1996, Barney Williams, Athens 2004)

· 1 Olympic Bronze Medal (Emma, Sydney 2000)

·  4 Pan Am Games Gold and Silver Medals (1999, 2007)

·  2 Commonwealth Gold Medals (1999)

·  1 Inner-city youth rower graduated Princeton University on a full rowing scholarship

·  3 Inner-city youth rowers graduated Harvard University
