We give inner city youth the opportunity to participate in a sport that would normally not be available to them.  This allows us to encourage and increase the level of youth participation in the sport of rowing.  We strive hard to ensure a safe and positive racing environment for all participants. We instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic, not only on the water, but in life. Then these kids are able to experience a sport and a community that they would have never imagined.

Viking boat allows the kids to get on the water and learn the basics of rowing in an easy step by step manner.
